Summer camp programs provide academic and enrichment activities for at-risk children during the summer months. It strives to reduce summer learning loss and helps to prepare children for the next school year. Summer camps generally include a wide variety of services, to include tennis, dance and arts camps. Children who live in Duval County and are 5 years old by September 1st through rising 9th graders (or up to 15 years of age), are eligible for services. Children must qualify as low-income or special needs.
- Children participating in the free/reduced lunch program (those with documented special needs, or recipients of the McKay Scholarship or Children First Florida Scholarship) are eligible for seats at selected camps.
- Registration for all camps is conducted by each individual camp location. Parents/caregivers interested in enrolling their children in camp this summer should contact the camps directly to learn more about how and when to register.
